How Gold Essentials Works

Gold Essentials is built differently than a traditional jewelry store.

Instead of trying to keep every design in stock year-round, we release new collections every week. This allows us to spend more time making beautiful jewelry, less time managing inventory, and continue offering transparent pricing based on the current value of gold, craftsmanship, and production costs.

Weekly Releases

Every Sunday evening we release a new collection of Gold Essentials designs.
Each weekly release includes a limited selection of original in-house jewelry.
Some pieces are already completed and available for immediate purchase.
Others may be ordered in the same design, approximately the same target weight, or in a larger size where available.
Each weekly collection remains available for a limited ordering window before production begins.

Ordering Window

Ordering opens every Sunday evening and closes every Wednesday at 12:00 PM (Noon).

During this period you may:

  • Purchase an In Stock piece.

  • Place a Backorder for the same design.

  • Order a Made-to-Order piece.

  • Request a larger version (when available).

  • Order a custom ring size.

  • Add custom engraving.

  • Add Expedite Service.

Once ordering closes on Wednesday afternoon, production begins for that week's orders.

In Stock

If a listing displays In Stock, you are purchasing that exact completed piece.

The finished weight, gold purity, craftsmanship, production costs, and final selling price have already been calculated.

Your order is shipped exactly as shown.

Once that specific piece sells, it is no longer available.

Because gold prices change regularly, pricing is guaranteed only while that exact piece remains available.

Backorder

If an In Stock piece has already sold, you may still reserve the same design during that week's ordering window.

Your jewelry will be produced specifically for your order using the target weight shown on the listing.

Because every piece is individually cast, finished, polished, and inspected by hand, the final weight may vary slightly.

A 90% Production Deposit is collected when your order is placed.

After production is complete, we verify the finished weight, calculate the final selling price using the actual amount of gold in your piece, and settle the remaining balance before shipment.

Made-to-Order

Made-to-Order pieces are produced after your order is placed.

Pricing begins with an estimate based on:

  • Target finished weight

  • Gold purity

  • Current gold value

  • Craftsmanship

  • Direct production costs

A 90% Production Deposit is collected before production begins.

Once your jewelry is complete, we verify the finished weight, calculate the final selling price using the actual gold content, and settle the remaining balance before shipment.

Custom Size Orders

Certain jewelry, including rings, requires different amounts of gold depending on the requested size.

Because the final weight changes with size, pricing begins with an estimate.

A 90% Production Deposit is collected when your order is placed.

After production is complete, we verify the finished weight, calculate the final selling price using the actual amount of gold in your completed piece, and settle the remaining balance before shipment.

How Pricing Works

Backorders, Made-to-Order pieces, and Custom Size orders begin with an estimated target weight.

Your estimate includes:

  • Gold purity

  • Estimated finished weight

  • Estimated pure gold content

  • Current gold value

  • Craftsmanship

  • Direct production costs

  • Estimated final selling price

To begin production, we collect 90% of the estimated selling price as your Production Deposit.

After your jewelry has been completed, we weigh the finished piece and calculate the final selling price using the actual finished weight and the same transparent pricing formula used to prepare your estimate.

Unless additional services are requested—such as engraving, expedited production, custom sizing, or design modifications—the craftsmanship and production costs generally remain unchanged.

Final Price Confirmation

Every Backorder, Made-to-Order, and Custom Size piece is weighed after production is complete.

The final selling price is calculated using:

  • Actual finished weight

  • Gold purity

  • Current gold value used for your estimate

  • Craftsmanship

  • Direct production costs

  • The same transparent pricing formula used throughout the Gold Essentials collection

Because only a 90% Production Deposit is collected before production begins, the remaining balance is settled after the final weight has been confirmed.

If the finished piece contains less gold than originally estimated, we refund or credit the difference before shipment.

If the finished piece contains more gold than originally estimated, the remaining balance is adjusted only to reflect the additional gold used.

Our pricing philosophy never changes. Every order is priced using the same transparent formula regardless of whether the final weight is slightly higher or lower than the estimate.

Production

After ordering closes on Wednesday at 12:00 PM (Noon), our workshop begins that week's production run.

Every piece is individually:

  • Cast
  • Finished
  • Polished
  • Inspected
  • Engraved (if requested)
  • Cleaned
  • Packaged
  • Prepared for shipment

By producing jewelry in weekly batches, we spend more time making jewelry and less time managing inventory, allowing us to maintain consistent quality and transparent pricing.


Shipping

Our standard shipping day is Monday.

Whether your order is an In Stock, Backorder, Made-to-Order, or Custom Size item, it will normally ship on the next scheduled Monday after it is ready for shipment.
Tracking information is emailed as soon as your order ships.

Orders over $800 receive free 2-Day Air shipping and require a signature upon delivery.

If production times become longer due to unusually high order volume, we will post an announcement on our website and keep customers updated by email, WhatsApp, and our social media channels.

Expedite Service

Need your jewelry sooner?
Expedite Service moves your order to the front of the production queue and ships it as soon as it is completed.

In Stock Items

In Stock pieces ordered with Expedite Service by 2:00 PM Central Time, Tuesday through Friday, will typically ship by the following business afternoon instead of waiting for the next scheduled Monday shipment.

Made-to-Order, Backorder & Custom Size Items

Expedited production orders receive priority manufacturing.
These orders require approximately 48 hours of production time before shipment.
Once production is complete, your order ships on the next available expedited shipment instead of waiting for the standard Monday shipping schedule.
Availability of Expedite Service may vary during periods of exceptionally high order volume.

Discounts & Adjustments

If the finished weight differs from the original estimate, your final invoice is adjusted using the actual amount of gold in your completed jewelry.

If the finished piece weighs less than estimated, we refund or credit the difference before shipment.

If the finished piece weighs more than estimated, the remaining balance is adjusted to reflect the additional gold used.

Additional discounts may occasionally be offered during production delays, special promotions, or other circumstances at our discretion.
